Integrate Recovery Team

David Golden

Executive Director – Integrate Recovery

David Golden brings his years of experience helping others to Integrate Recovery as Program Director for our therapeutic coaching program. Through his own journey in recovery and his individualized way of approaching the disease of addiction, David has learned to help clients focus on their entire wellbeing in order to help them achieve a life of their dreams. While this process can sometimes be difficult for clients the reward is often much higher than even they ever realized.

Prior to joining the Integrate team, David has worked in the residential treatment industry for The Arbor Behavioral Healthcare as a Manager of Sober Living, a Recovery Advocate, Supervisor of Recovery Care Technicians, and Alumni Services Manager. Most recently David was Director of Case Management for Harmony Recovery Consulting, During this journey David has learned what works best and believes that each individual is unique and deserves a individualized approach to reach their desired goals.

David hails from Shreveport, LA but has called Austin home for the last 4 years. When not working to help clients achieve their potential, David can usually be found spending time with his friends bowling, playing pool, attending concerts or walking one of the many trails that Austin has to offer.

Cristy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, with a minor in Psychology from the University of North Texas in 2007, and became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in 2011. Cristy comes to the Integrate Recovery team, inspired and energized by her talented and passionate teammates, whose lives have also been and continue to be enhanced by their personal recovery journeys. Having personal experience as a client in treatment who once labeled herself as a “chronic relapser,” is perhaps the underpinning of her deep seated appreciation for/and anchor to this work. Cristy is honored to join and work with individuals and families, as she gratefully connects a through line of her own experience, in which compassionate and hopeful providers held hope for her- even when she had none.

Cristy spends her free time engaging in her favorite hobbies- she is a self-taught woodworker and leatherworker, who must create something with her hands to feel fulfilled and recharged. She also loves spending quality time with close friends and family. She is a very dedicated dog mom to two amazing and beautiful rescue mutts, Mateo & Finn.
